Godavari movie director Sekhar Kammula has said that it was his film alone that stood second to Pokiri in terms of collections.
At the Godavari Success Meet arranged in the State Capital on Tuesday, Sekhar said that their expectations about the picture came real. Sekhar said, “What makes me
happy is most audience are terming Godavari as a classic movie. Besides “A" Centres, "B” and "C" centers are also drawing good collections. Our novel experiment to
make a dog speak in a social movie met with success.”
Producer GVG Raju said “Our success trip during the second week of the movie received a good response from the audience. All those who purchased the movie are
happy. It is going to complete 50 days in 35 to 40 centres“. Hero Sumant said that he got the satisfaction of having played a good role in an ideal movie like Godavari.
